SMRECIU, Marica (Maria). November 21, 1921 - November 29, 2005. Predeceased by her husband George (1974), her brothers Nicu, Steve, Costa, Andrei and Angelo and her sister Angela. Left to mourn is her only son, Nick (Ann) and her beloved grandchildren Olivia and Nathan. She will be greatly missed by her sister Stefanio and brother Anton and her dearest nieces Evanghilia, Flora and their families. She will also be missed by her many friends in Victoria, Vancouver, Montreal and across North America. Funeral Mass will be held in the Greek Orthodox Church of the Saviour, 4648 Elk Lake Drive, Victoria, B.C. on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Marica may be made to the B.C Heart and Stroke Foundation, 107 - 1001 Cloverdale Avenue, Victoria, BC, V8X 4C9.
