MACARTNEY, James, Francis (Jim) CJOH TV After a courageous battle with many illnesses, Jim passed away at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Friday, December 2, 2005, at the age of 62. Beloved husband and best friend of Marg. Cherished son of Betty Rayworth of Hanover and the late William Macartney. Predeceased by his brother Gordon. Jim also leaves to mourn his sisters and brother, Carol (John McDonald) of Arizona, Sandra Diebel of Hanover and Ken of Kitchener. Uncle Jimmie will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Dennis Peterson (D'Anna), Heather, Michael, and Amanda Diebel, Candice (Nick Smith) and Cherish Macartney and great- niece Madison Smith. Jim will also be missed by his many relatives, friends and his extended family at CJOH TV. Jim was an avid sports fan and was a faithful supporter of the Ottawa 67's and Ottawa Senators. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road, on Sunday, December 4, 2005, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, December 5, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Chesley Cemetery.
