Villiam FRANKEL

FRANKEL, Villiam. With much sadness we-- announce the passing of Mr. Villiam Frankel of blessed memory, on Sunday evening, December 4, 2005, Kislev 4, 5766. The post-war growth and flourishment of the Montreal Jewish Community is indelibly bound up with the extra-ordinary life and achievements of Mr. Frankel. He will be deeply mourned by many. Mr. Frankel is survived by his loving family - his cherished wife and life's partner Clara, and devoted children George, Suzie and Judy with their spouses; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Interment will take place in Jerusalem. Shiva will be observed at 1890 Lajoie. Morning services: 7:15 a.m. and Mincha at 16:15. The family extends their thanks to the entire staff of the Emergency, 2-Main and 2-East of the Jewish General Hospital and especially to Dr. Portnoy and Dr. Langleben for their extraordinary care and support beyond the call of duty.
