FRANKEL, Villiam. With much sadness we-- announce the passing of Mr. Villiam Frankel of blessed memory, on Sunday evening, December 4, 2005, Kislev 4, 5766. The post-war growth and flourishment of the Montreal Jewish Community is indelibly bound up with the extra-ordinary life and achievements of Mr. Frankel. He will be deeply mourned by many. Mr. Frankel is survived by his loving family - his cherished wife and life's partner Clara, and devoted children George, Suzie and Judy with their spouses; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Interment will take place in Jerusalem. Shiva will be observed at 1890 Lajoie. Morning services: 7:15 a.m. and Mincha at 16:15. The family extends their thanks to the entire staff of the Emergency, 2-Main and 2-East of the Jewish General Hospital and especially to Dr. Portnoy and Dr. Langleben for their extraordinary care and support beyond the call of duty. The family also would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Hatzoloh group of volunteers for being there, day and night, whenever needed. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 12/6/2005
