CAMPBELL, Vernon Wesley Peacefully in his sleep after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Sunday evening, December 4th, 2005 in the Almonte General Hospital, Vernon W. Campbell at the age of 68 years; (R.C.C.S. Canadian Army, Master Warrant Officer (Retired), Canadian Security Establishment (Retired)) Son of the late Mabel and Wesley Campbell, cherished husband of Diane Isobel (Cherry) Campbell. Vernon was the loved and respected father of Debbie of Orleans, Suzan (Martin) of Bowen Island, Cherri (David) and Alan (Kate) of Toronto; dear grandfather of Serena, Lara, Molly, Bridget and Samuel of Toronto. He will be sadly missed by siblings Lorna (Mick) Kluke, Kathy (John) Lemenchick, Evie (Don) Coughlan and Evan (the late Mae) Campbell and the late Anna (Fergy) Ferguson and Betty (Fred) Hopkins, he was the brother-in-law of Colin (Joan) Cherry and the late Doug (Wanda) Cherry. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home, Lanark Friday, December 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment, Clyde Forks Cemetery.
