GIBBS, Alice Peacefully at St. Patrick's Home on December 9, 2005 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Robert. Dear mother of Don (the late Susan), Pat (Jerome Henry) and Wendy (Denis St-Louis). Special grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Sister of Emily, Ivy, Elsie and the late Wilf, all of England. Alice served 3 years as a WAAF during WWII and over 50 years of dedicated service in the Girl Guides of Canada. Alice was also a dedicated member of her Church. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Wednesday, December 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Anglican Church, 2345 Alta Vista Drive on Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 1 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Patrick's Home for their wonderful care and attention.
