McKay, Thelma It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Thelma McKay on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 in her 84th year. She died peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Donald McKay. Loving mother of Douglas (Iona). Dearly loved grandmother of Andrew (Marlene). Predeceased by her parents Harold and Madge Thompson and by her brother Earl. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Friday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Our heartfelt thanks go to the caring staff of Longfields Manor. In lieu of flowers a donation in Thelma's memory to the Parkinson Society of Ottawa-Carleton would be appreciated.
