HADLEY, Edna (nee Knight). In her 103rd year, died peacefully at Chateau Westmount on Friday the 16th of December, 2005. Predeceased by her husbands Leslie Dickson of England and Fraser Hadley of Ottawa, Ontario. Survived by her only daughter Josephine (Hadley) Stoker of Westmount, Quebec, and three grandchildren Deborah McMeniman of Sydney, Australia; Timothy Lantier of Toronto, Ontario; and Tony Lantier of Westport, Connecticut; and seven great grandchildren Jeni, Christopher, Jonathon, Eric, Matthew, Simonne and Gabrielle. She was lovingly cared for by the staff on the fourth floor at Chateau Westmount and by her special attendants Rita and Claire over the past five years. She was a patient there. To whom many thanks are given by her daughter and son-in-law Patrick McG. Stoker. Following a private cremation in Montreal, her ashes will be buried next to her husband Fraser Hadley in Ottawa at a later date in the spring of 2006.
