HARUTA, Toshiharu Louis. Passed away suddenly at home in Montreal, Quebec on Friday, December 9, 2005. He joins his father Hiroshi (1966), his mother Shizue (1992), his sister Reiko Elizabeth (1949), and his wife Terue (2004) and ancestors. May they rest in peace. Survived by his brother Yoshinori Harry Louis's daughter and son. He will be sadly missed by nephew, Derek and Charlene, Mathew and Ryan, niece, Akemi and Nhan, Kiyomi and Bryan, extended family, many friends and neighbours. Louis will be remembered for his caring nature, generous spirit and a good person. He was a faithful member of the Japanese Montreal Buddhist Temple and spent many an hour at the Japanese Canadian Community Centre of Montreal. A private service was held. He was cremated and will be laid to rest at the Mount Royal Cemetery Columbarium in Montreal, Outremont, Quebec. A memorial service will be announced in the new year.
