GRIFFIN, Claire (nee Marien). On December, 17 2005 was called home to the Father after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Harry Griffin. Dear mother of Harry Jr., Anthony, Mary Grace, Marien, Jane (Cecil Chabot). Predeceased by her parents Peter and Grace, and by her brother the late Peter Marien and her sister the late Joan Brown (Warren). Survived by her sister Sheilah Noble (Paul) as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home (5610 Sherbrooke St. W.). Visiting hours are on Monday December 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, December 20 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, December 21 at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine of Cantebury Parish (5333 N.D.G Ave. corner Decarie Blvd.). Special thanks to Dr. Thirlwell, Cathy Meaney, Dr. Fleiszer and the staff of the Montreal General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cedars Breast Clinic or the Palliative Care Unit of the Montreal General Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
