JOHNSON, Frank Henry. Peacefully on December 16, 2005, after a short illness. Devoted husband of 60 years to Elizabeth (Betty). Loving father of Cheryl (Norman) and Drew (Lynne). Cherished "Pop" of Jasper and Hilary. Royal Canadian Navy veteran of WWII; and an avid hiker, skier and bird watcher at his beloved Smugglers' Notch, Vermont. Heartfelt thanks to the most caring staff at the Palliative Care Unit of the Montreal General Hospital and to the S8 Short Stay Unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital. No visitation and private family funeral at the request of the deceased. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Montreal General Palliative Care Unit, 1650 Cedar Avenue, Montreal, H3G 1A4, would be appreciated.
