COOKE, Madeline Passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 22, 2005, Madeline Cooke (nee Fossitt) of Riverside Heights, formerly of Winchester, age 88. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Cooke. Much loved mother of Marian (Jerry) Michalicka of Riverside Heights and the late Lorna Jean Barkley. Cherished grandmother of Kim (Stewart) Wheeler, Murray (Patty) Michalicka, Myrna (Jamie) Cheney, and Steven (Fay) Barkley. Loving great-grandmother of Alison and Erin Wheeler. Special "mother" of Sharon (John) Mulkerns of Kingston. Predeceased by her parents John and Jenny Fossitt (nee Lennox), sisters Leaphy Dewland, Winnie Banford, Lily Hanes, Lola Dvornsky, Verla Cook, Keith Fossitt, and brothers Jim and Elmer Fossitt. She is mourned by many nieces and nephews. Madeline lived her entire life in Dundas County and thoroughly enjoyed her many years of employment at Winchester District Memorial Hospital. Friends may call at the Marsden & McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at the Funeral Home on Saturday, December 24th at 11a.m., followed by cremation.
