Shirley Patricia CLARKE

TREHEARNE, Shirley Patricia (nee Clarke) Passed away in the early hours of December 22, 2005 after a valiant struggle with complications from pneumonia. Pat was surrounded and comforted by her family and friends. She will continue to live on and be cherished in the hearts of her children; Faeron, Lara and Deryck, her grandchildren; Ellis, Avery, Naima, Julien, and Leam-Alexandre, her brothers; David, Russell and Danny, her sisters; Maureen, and Eleanor, her sister-in-law Ramona, and her son-in-law Michael Grange. She was predeceased by her husband Deryck C. Trehearne. She also sends her love to all her many friends and former students. Pat retired in 1998 after a 42 year career as a teacher, many of which were spent teaching special education at Glen Cairn Public School in Kanata: "Her little ones well served." Her indomitable spirit lives on in all those who knew her. The family wishes to say a special thank-you to all the staff at the I.C.U. of the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their remarkable compassion and professionalism. Visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.), Nepean, on Tuesday, December 27th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel at 3 p.m. with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Queensway Carleton Hospital or the Arthritis Society. We love you Gran!
