SCAFFIDI-ARGENTINA, Angela With such deep sadness in our hearts, our devoted and much loved mother and Nonna passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at the age of 71. She was very cherished and loved so deeply by her children, Gino (Anne Lavoy), Teresa (Tony Leone) and Carm (Jo-Anne Henderson). She was a very proud Nonna to Giannino, Dante, Anita, Nicolina, Laura and Sarah. She was also a very loving Zia, known as Zia Catena to all her many nieces and nephews. As was her wish, she died at home, her home filled with wonderful memories of happy times. She was surrounded and protected by the love of her children, grandchildren, family and friends. We, your children and grandchildren thank you for the great pleasure and honour to have taken care of you during your battle with cancer. It was a small token of our appreciation, our great love for you and thanks for all the many times and many years you took care of us. A Mass in Memory of Angela will be held Thursday, December 29th at Madonna della Risurrezione Church at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice at May Court Volunteer Program, the Palliative Care Outreach Program and the Canadian Cancer Society.
