LAWSON, Margaret Ann (Peggy). Died peacefully in her sleep on Christmas Eve at Eagle Ridge Hospital, Port Moody, British Columbia after a short illness. Peggy was born in Hant's Harbour, Newfoundland, the youngest daughter of magistrate James W. Janes and Laura M. Taylor, and grew up in the town of Greenspond. She was married to the late Robert Ernest Lawson of Quebec City, and lived most of her adult life in Montreal, moving to Vancouver in her later years. She is survived by a sister, Mildred of Toronto; a son, Nelson, of Savannah, Georgia; and three daughters: Linda Cox of Sydney, Australia; Brenda Graham, of Vancouver; and Sandra Leroy of Nantes, France; and by nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Well-loved by all her family and friends for her kindness and sense of humour, she will surely be missed by all. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 12/27/2005
