SCHULMAN, Dr. Herbert Michael. 1932 - 2005. Passed away on December 27, 2005. A founder of the Lady Davis Institute of the Jewish General Hospital, Herb made a profound contribution to science and was an outspoken defender of scientific ethics and integrity. Survived by his wife Nathalie, son Daniel, daughters Gwen and Sarah, grandsons Ben and Dylan, daughter-in-law Pat Sherk, and son-in-law Carl Mulvey. Herb would say "L'chayim!" In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sun Youth, Medecins Sans Frontieres or The Simon Wiesenthal Centre.
