ESCHER, Corrie Peacefully on December 29th, 2005, age 80. Survived by husband George, sisters Truus Ravenshorst and Mieke Reimerink of Holland, daughters Juliet Hamilton (Neil) and Kathy Corkum (Michael), and grandchildren Scott, Danny, Amanda, Nicole and Jennifer. Corrie moved to Canada from Holland in 1958, and lived in St. Andrew's East (Quebec), Mahone Bay (Nova Scotia) and Ottawa. She was active in Early Childhood Education, Girl Guides and Women's Institute until she became ill with Alzheimer's disease. Cremation has taken place. In memoriam donations may be made to the Red Cross. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 12/31/2005
