RIGA, Doreen (Foisy). On Thursday December 29, Doreen Riga, aged sixty, beloved wife of Jim Riga, daughter of the late Paul-Emile and Jessie Foisy, passed away peacefully. She was a retired teacher for the C.E.C.M. and E.M.S.B. She will be sadly missed by her cherished sister Pauline Foisy, her father-in-law Patrick Pasquale, her in-laws, Victor (Helen), Tony (Ginette), Patrick, her nieces and nephews: Cindy, Anthony, Natalie, Alexander, Adam, her cherished godson Francis, and by her closest friends Tony and Evelyn Hadley. Visitation will be at the Komitas Funeral Home, 5180 De Salaberry, Montreal; on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 from 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the oncology or the liver and kidney department c/o The Jewish General Hospital Foundation would be much appreciated.
