Rose was predeceased by her parents Joseph Farago and Rosa Kiss; brother Malcolm Farago, sister Ida Rakos, brother-in-law Paul Rakos, and husand David Kakuk. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her sister Ethel Wong and family; sister-in-law Rose Farago and family; Rakos family; children Donald (Georgina) Kakuk, Fay/Lillian Sykes and husband Wayne Carruthers, Brian (Tracy) Kakuk; grandchildren Lorri (Gary) Stahl, David (Heather) Kakuk, Albert (Pauline) Sykes, Alana, Bailey and Nicklas Kakuk; great-grandchildren Tyler and Brittany Stahl, Joshua and Benjamin Kakuk, Kalon, Kordell, Naomi, Merissa and Tenille Sykes; and many other relatives and friends. Here is a poem by Rose: To those I loved, And those who loved me; When I am gone, release me, let me go. You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears Be happy that we had so many years. I gave to you my love, you can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown But now it?s time I traveled on alone. So grieve a while for me if you must Then let your grief be comforted by trust; It?s only for a while that we must part So bless the memories within your heart. I won?t be far away, for life goes on. So if you need me, call and I will come; Though you cannot see or touch me, I?ll be near, And if you listen with your heart you'll hear all of my love around you soft and clear And then, when you must come this way alone, I?ll greet you with a smile and say "Welcome home." A note to all from Rose: In the event of my death, I do not want a funeral, my body will be cremated and I do not wish a memorial service - no attendance please - just between me and my maker. No tears now, I had a good happy life. Bye bye till we meet again. I love you all - a Rose fades away.
