Moench: Katherine O. Katherine O. Moench, nee Bish, left her family on earth to join her family above on Friday, August 19, 2005 after a short and bitter battle with cancer. Katherine was born on the family ranch near Kalispell in Flathead City, Montana seventy-four years ago. Katherine was predeceased by her only son, Ken (Red) (Leanne) Moench; her parents, Cory and Sophia Bish; four of her five brothers and her five sisters. She is survived by her husband, Ken; daughters, Kerry (Louis) Storms, Rich Valley, AB and Kathy Ellen (Kyle) Beebe, Kobar, USA; special daughters Leanne (Jim) Sorenson, Endiang, AB; Shannon (Lance) Sambell, Stony Plain, AB, and Kathy (Rick) Weich, Hanna, AB; her two beloved grandchildren: Tyrell and Kaylah Beebe; a sister/niece Myrna Pat Parr and one brother, Gary Bish, both of Washington State. Katherine also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews each of whom were special to her. Katherine had a love for the arts and enjoyed reading, music of all kinds, and painting. In the last years, she struggled to continue doing fancywork as her eyesight failed. Katherine's final wishes will be met later this week with a memorial/wake. Details to follow.
