PORTER, M. ELIZABETH - The death of Mae Elizabeth Porter, of Stephenson Tower, Saint John, wife of the late Bernard Porter, occurred on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at her residence. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late William and Peggy (Friars) Oram. Mrs. Porter was formerly employed with Red Rose Tea and was a member of the Stephenson Tower Social Club. She is survived by one son, William Porter (Doreen) of Saint John, four daughters, Susan Porter-Eadle (Douglas) of Saint John, Jane Carson (Derrick) of St. Andrews, Sharon Lomax (Bradley) of Lepreau and Margo McVicar of St. George and seven grandchildren, Sarah, Jason, Bradley Jr., Tanya, Nicki, Amanda and Chris. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at 2:15 PM. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
