Sean Noel " Diz" Denton GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB - Sean Noel "Diz" Denton, 43, of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16, 2005 after a brief, courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Saint John, N.B. He is survived by his wife, Mariam (Hagley); mother, Norma Jeanne and stepdad, Chuck Lavoie of Shediac; father, Gerald Bryant Denton of Ontario; maternal grandmother, Vivian Somerville and her special friend, Rupert MacDonald of Charlottetown, P.E.I.; two special aunts, Valerie Todd of Burlington, ON and Debbie Somerville of Saint John, N.B.; parents-in-law, Earl and Eileen Hagley of Guysborough County, N.S.; brothers-in-law, Wayne and Trevor Hagley of Grande Prairie; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends and co-workers. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Sterling Somerville and his uncle Kenny Somerville. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and fisherman. He was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge No. 51, Dartmouth, N.S. Sean was an employee of Ainsworth Lumber Co. He has been a mentor with Big Brothers/Big Sisters at Hillside School. Memorial visitation on Saturday, January 14, 2006 from 1p.m. to 4p.m. at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297).
