McSHANE; Beatrice (Beattie) (nee Merkley) It is with great sorrow that her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren announce the passing of their Mother and Gramma on Friday January 6th at Kingston General Hospital in her 87th year. She now joins her late husband Charles and granddaughters Tanya Echlin and Laura Lloyd. Beattie is deeply mourned by her six sons and five daughters: Leo (Cletus), Gerald, Jim (Lorna), Charles, Ronald, John McShane, Anne (Fred) LaFrance, Shirley (Wayne) Echlin, Mary (Mark) Mulville, Rose (Mike) Ogden, Noreen McShane. Lovingly remembered by her 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and three precious babies on the way. Always in their hearts her sisters Lillian Burke (BC), Luella McShane (Kingston), Blanche Davis (Smiths Falls), Pearl Norwood (Ottawa), Gladys Mulville (Westport). Sister in laws Cecilia and Marie Merkley (Westport). Predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret Merkley, brothers Wilbur, Harold, Lloyd, Raymond Merkley and many dear sisters and brothers in law. Friends will be received at the Central Chapel of Gordon F. Tompkins, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy Street) on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. Mass of Christian Burial St. Edward the Confessor Church, 11 Concession Street, Westport on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Westport. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario at Kingston General Hospital would be greatly appreciated. “One thing we would like you to know Mom Of which there is no doubt You will always be loved and remembered But so hard to live without“ In care of Gordon F.
