Harold Clayton Humphrey 1922 2003 The death of Harold Clayton Humphrey, husband of Muriel, of Tenth Street, Moncton, occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, February 13, 2003. Born in Moncton, November 5,1922, he was the son of the late William and Helen (Stultz) Humphrey. Mr Humphrey had been employed with Canada Post and had retired from NBTel. A veteran of the Second World War he served overseas with the 17th Duke of York Regiment. He was a member of Lewisville United Baptist Church, as well as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch #6, the Air Force Vets; the 31 Club; the Main Brace and the CNR War Vets. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Andrew (Krista) of Parkindale; one daughter, Elizabeth (Donald) Babineau of Moncton; sisters, Effie Lilienthal and Kathryn Ruch, both of Florida; one brother, Austin of Moncton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his granddaughter Brittaney; sister, Olga; and brothers, Jack and Irving. By request there will not be any visiting hours or funeral service. A Legion Memorial Service, conducted by officers and members of the Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch # 6, will be held on Monday February 17th at 2 pm at Fair Haven Funeral Home. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Harold's memory may be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation. www.fairhavenfh.com
