DARLING, Mary (Giampolo) - Passed away peacefully, with her daughters and son-in-law at her side, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Friday May 2, 2003 in her 94th year. Loving and devoted mother of Frances Williams and her late husband Charles of Niagara Falls and Tina Masur and her husband Fritz of Illinois. Cherished grandmother of Donna (David) Rukavina, Deanna Williams, Charles (Maria) Williams, Cheryl Garrigan and Daniel (Sherry) Masur. Lovingly remembered by her great -grandchildren Aaron, Andrea and Carolyn Laws, Melanie, Jodi, Curtis and Ryan Rukavina, Tonia, Charles and Marc Williams, Kristin (Michael) Wiehe, Katie and Casey Garrigan, Jack and Alex Masur, Ben and Stephanie Miller and her great-great-granddaughter Megan Wiehe. Dear sister of Christine McDonald of Niagara Falls. Predeceased by her husband Anthony Giampolo in 1971 and Melvin Darling in 1989. Mrs. Darling had been a devout member of St. Patrick's Church and was a Past-President of the Catholic Women's League. She was also involved for many years in the Canada Day activities in Niagara Falls and she willl be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Interment will follow in Lundy's Lane Cemetery.
