THOMPSON, John Reid, At Linhaven Home for the Aged on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his wife May. John is survived by his son Philip in St. Catharines, a brother Victor and sister Edna, both of Ireland. John was a honourar y member of the Rotary Club of St. Catharines. Many thanks to the staff at Linhaven for the care provided during his stay. In keeping with the wishes of John, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service. John will be returned to Ireland to be interred alongside his late wife May following a memorial service. Arrangements have been entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL. (905) 937-4444.
