Elworthy: Vickey Frances Vickey Frances Elworthy, beloved wife of Bob Elworthy of Bowden passed away at her residence on November 5, 2003 at the age of 47 years. Born at Lindsay, Ontario, Vickey developed a love of horses and the outdoors. Moving to Alberta with Bob in the fall in 1979, they were married in Bowden in 1984. They lived in several communities in Central Alberta before moving back to Bowden. Besides her husband Bob, Vickey is survived by one daughter, Brooke Elworthy, Edberg, AB; mother Ruth Taylor, Fenelon Falls, ON; a sister Glenda, Sombra, ON. Vickey was predeceased by her father Norman Taylor. Memorial services were held on Monday, November 10, 2003 at 2 p.m. from Mountain View Funeral Chapel, 5226 - 46 St., Olds, AB with interment at the Bowden Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Central Alberta Chapter, 4322 - 52 Ave., Red Deer, AB T4N 4J9.
