Stella FLAMMAND

STELLA FLAMMAND , March 28, 1926 December 31, 2003 Stella passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2003, at the age of 77 years with her family by her side. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, James; children, Lorrie, Myrna (Dennis), Ernest (Sandy), Conrad (LorrieAnn), Gloria (special friend, Greg), Gillis (Dorothy), Daryle; grandchildren, Korey, Leah (Jarrod), Shera, Trevor (Maria), Sasha (Mark), Eddie (Jamie), Taylor, Troy (Tina), Joshua, Ryan, Courtney, Dustin, Kristy (Jamie), Courtney, Jeremy, Jennifer, Jay and Chelsey; great grandchildren, Tristyn, Colton, Danielle, Kalli, Tayah, Markus and Landen; sisters, Marion (Ernie), Lucy and Marie as well as many nieces and nephews that she remained particularly close with. She was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Mike Flammand; one sister, Olive; two brothers, Emil and John; mother and father in law, Katherine and Norbert Lavalley. Stella had many dear friends that she made over her lifetime seeming to touch everyone that she met. Some of these were in Yorkton where she enjoyed visiting them over weekends. Stella was especially proud of her family. She enjoyed receiving visits throughout the week from her family and friends where her kitchen would serve as a meeting place for stories and laughter. Stella loved life and her zest to experience it was illustrated in her endless energy from morning to night. She also took great pleasure in bingo and sewing. Stella will be greatly missed by everyone. She played an important part in so many people's lives. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 2, 2003 at Canadian Martyrs R.C. Church, 1932 1st Ave. N, Regina, SK. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 3, 2003 at Canadian Martyrs R.C. Church with Fr. Pat McCoy as Celebrant. Family interment will be held in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery on Monday, January 5, 2003. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses in unit 6A at Regina General Hospital for all their support and caring during our difficult time. It was greatly appreciated.
