Beloved husband of Lucille Farmer. Cherished father of Francine (Ron) Hill, Claudette (Brian) Suffel, Diane (Allan) Dinner all of Smiths Falls and the late Micheline Atkinson. Father-in-law of Jerry Atkinson of Jasper. Loved grandfather of Joe Hill (Elizabeth St. Onge) of Vancouver, Lorie Hill of London, Earl Suffel, Jennifer (Johnny) Cahill, Jason Suffel, and Jeffrey Dinner all of Smiths Falls and Angela Dinner of Kingston. Son of the late Joseph Deschenes and Marie Anne Demers. Brother of Irene Perrault, Laurette Levesque, Therese Guillemette, Ovila Deschenes, and Antoinette Chasse all of Joliette, Quebec and the late Lionel Deschenes, Soeur Simone, Elaine Desroches, Jeanne Turgeon, Soeur Germaine and Cecile Plouffe. Brother-in-law of Aline (Bernie) Rasmussen of Cornwall and the late Doris Olivera and Hughette Hamel. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, St. Francis de Sales Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
