Mrs. Winnie Bernier 1927-2003 The family announces with sorrow her death at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls, Monday, October 27th, 2003, at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of Joseph (Joe) Bernier and dearest mother of Léona (Gilbert) Brideau, Yvon (Estelle) Bernier, Robert (Lonna) Bernier, Léanne (Yvon) Lachapelle, Gérald (Janice) Bernier and Jacques (Micheline) Bernier. Mrs. Bernier will be fondly remembered by her 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She will live in the hearts of her brothers Raymond (the late Melina) Romain and Hansel (Anita) Romain as well as her sisters Victoire (the late Adélard) Nadeau, Delores (Norman) Marmen and Simone (André) Barron. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Brigitte Romain and her brothers Elieth (the late Léonne), Laurier (the late Lucienne) Romain, Elmer et Joseph Romain as well as her sister Bella (the late Roland) Gelinas. Family and friends may call at Salon Funéraire Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 Detroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls, on Wednesday, October, 29th, 2003 from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m., and on Thursday, October, 30th, 2003 from 9-10 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 30th, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at Sts Martyrs Canadiens Catholic Church with Father Roland Lapalme officiating. Donations to the Canadian Lung Association or to the Anson General Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
