FRECHETTE Lawrence (Larry) It is with great sadness the family announces the unexpected passing of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, Lawrence (Larry) Frechette on Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at St. Paul's Hospital after a lengthy illness. Larry fought a valiant struggle to the very end. Larry was born in Esterhazy, SK on July 22, 1933. He resided in Saskatoon for the past 30 years, where he met and married his soul mate and best friend, Jackie. He was a truck driver all his life, being employed by Trimac, Texaco, Wescan, Turner's and most recently Calac Trucking. He especially enjoyed time spent with his children, grandchildren and his winter trips to Arizona. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Jackie; children, Paul Frechette (Christina Astaforoff) and Liberty; Mark Frechette (Ebony King) and Parker; Laurel Frechette; Lorene Caron (Stan); Bill Zubrecki (Bonnie) and Michael, Matthew, Arron; Joanne Ryzak (Rod) and Bryce; Erin; Melanie Prive (Claude) and Ashley, Megan Nicholas; Mother Lorell Frechette; brother, Richard Frechette (Diane); sister Denise Joseph (Ron); and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Lucien Frechette; and granddaughter, Lindsay Ryzak. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. M. Harrington and the entire 5th floor Surgical Staff. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Saskatoon Funeral Home (4th Ave. and 25th St.) conducted by Rev. Howard Ulmer with interment to follow at The Columbarium at St. John's Cathedral. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the 5th floor Surgical Ward at St. Paul's Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME (244-5577).
