Remi Alfred GAREAU

GAREAU Remi Alfred of Prince Albert, SK and formerly of Bellevue, SK, passed away on June 9, 2003 in the early hours of the morning at St. Paul's Hospital, Saskatoon, SK at the age of 65 yrs. Remi farmed in Bellevue, SK all his life. He had to face many changes due to diabetes: eye sight, kidneys and the family farm. But throughout all of these hardships, Remi kept his positive attitude and his sense of humour. His faith pulled him and his family through. Remi leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, his loving wife, Yvette; his children and grandchildren: Jean (Solange Poulin) Gareau, Montreal, PQ; Guy (Maria) Gareau and their children, Isabelle and Antonio, Melfort, SK; Liza (Jim) Gareau Tosh, Harris, SK; Paul (Lucy Lu) Gareau, Montreal, PQ; five brothers: Real (Alice) Gareau, Bellevue, SK; Arsene (Fern) Gareau, Prince Albert, SK; Gilles (Lorraine) Gareau, Domremy, SK; Aubert Gareau, Victoria, BC; Cyril (Rose) Gareau, Saskatoon, SK; one sister, Sylvette (Alfred) Wandler, Macklin, SK; father-in-law, Cebal Ruel, Port Alberni, BC; four sisters-in-law; nine brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews. Vigil of Prayer will be held Thursday, June 12, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Luc Gaudet and Rev. Fr. Roland Gaudet on Friday, June 13, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. Both services will be held from St Isidore de Bellevue Roman Catholic Church.
