HUDON GHISLAIN-Des funérailles ont eu lieu le 22 juillet 2003 pour Ghislain Hudon de Hearst, décédé le 16 juillet à Gatineau au Québec à l'âge de 49 ans. Né le 6 mai 1954 à Mont-Brun au Québec, il est arrivé dans la région en 1968. Il était opérateur de machinerie pour la compagnie Tembec ainsi que pour divers contracteurs. Il amait pêcher, chasser, bricoler, être en forêt et pratiquer des activités en plein air. On le décrivait comme un homme jovial, toujours de bonne humeur, amical et toujours prêt à aider. Il fut précédé dans la mort par son père Paul Aurèle Hudon et par son frère Sylvain. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Denise Pelletier, sa mère Henriette, deux fils : Joël et Stéphane, une fille : Annick (Daniel Roy), cinq soeurs : Christiane, Carmen, Martine, Liette et Annie, toutes de Hearst, trois frères : Gaston et Martin, tous deux de Hearst et Claude (Luc) d'Ottawa, ainsi que 25 neveux et nièces. C'est le père Rémi Lessard qui a conduit le service funèbre. La famille apprécierait des dons au Foyer des Pionniers. Ghislain L. Hudon , of Hearst Death: July 16th, 2003 Funeral services for Hearst resident Ghislain L. Hudon, 49, of 811 Alexandra St. were held July 22, 2003. He died suddenly, July 16, in Gatineau, Quebec. Born May 6, 1954 in Mont-Brun, Que., he operated heavy equipment for Tembec and various contractors. Described as jovial, friendly, and always in good humor and ready to assist others, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, projects, and outdoor activities. Predeceased by his father Paul Aurèle Hudon February of 2000, and a brother Sylvain in 1987, both in Hearst, he leaves his wife Denise (née Pelletier) Hudon, his mother Henriette Hudon, a daughter Annick (companion Daniel Roy) Hudon, and sons Joël and Stéphane Hudon, all of Hearst. Also surviving are his sisters Christiane Hudon, Carmen Hudon, Martine (Serge Morin) Hudon, Liette (François) Morin and Annie (Daniel) Lapierre, all of Hearst, and brothers Gaston and Martin, both of Hearst, and Claude (companion Luc) Hudon, of Ottawa. There are 25 nieces and nephews. Rev. Rémi Lessard directed the service at Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption Cathedral. Interment followed at the Monseigneur Grenier Cemetery. Funeral director was the Salon Lafrance Funeral Home. Comêmemorative donations may be made to the Foyer des Pionniers. Published on July 23rd, 2003
