QUENNEVILLE, Norbert (POMPON) 78 years, peacefully, Saturday, March 29, 2003 at his home. Beloved husband of 54 years to Therese (nee Charron). Loving father of Suzanne and Gilbert Bastien, Claire Dulac, Germaine and Frank DiMenna, Diane Quenneville, Louise and Moe Mailloux, Marcel and Christianne, Luc and Louise, Pierre and Michele, Jeannine and Larry Unholzer. Pepe bien-amie de Lisa, David, Daniel, Michel, Marie-Lise, Maurice Jr., Marc, Michael, Marcel, Nicole, Valerie, Nicole, Yves, Blaise, Nicolas, Gillian, Olivia (1997), Patrick, Natalie, Robert and "Pugsy". Dear brother of the late Monique Sylvestre (2001). Norbert was a 3rd generation farmer in the St. Joachim area, He was also a member of the St. Jean Baptiste in St. Joachim. Respecting Norbert's wishes, friends are welcome to visit with family on Friday, April 4, 2003 from 2 p.m. at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Belle River until time of Memorial Mass at 5 p.m., followed by a procession to St. Joachim Cemetery for burial of Norbert's ashes in the family plot. Parish prayers Friday at 3 p.m. followed by Les Dames de la F.F.C.F. Donations may be made to Annunciation Church/St. Joachim Cemetery Board. Melady Funeral Home entrusted with funeral arrangements. A tree will be planted in memory of Norbert Quenneville, in the Melady Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 28, 2003. All are welcome.
