Peacefully at Saint-Luc Hospital on January 3, 2003 at the age of eighty-one, after a courageous struggle with cancer. He leaves to mourn Maddalena, his cherished wife of fifty-four years, his son Gabriel (Maria Palumbo) and daughter Maria (Frank Di Perna). Dearest Nonno to his four grandchildren, Eric, David, Marc and Veronica who will miss him so terribly. He brought beauty to his world and family trough his flowers and gardens. He cultivated pride, dignity and the highest standard of values in all those he loved. Resting at Magnus Poirier, 6825 Sherbrooke St. East (514-256-5533) on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and Wednesday, January 8 as of 8 a.m. Funeral service at Maria Ausiliatrice Church, 8550 Joliot Currie on Wednesday, January 8 at 10 a.m. followed by interment at St. Francois d'Assisi Cemetery.
