1924-2003. At CHSLD Champlain Manoir de Verdun on August 19, 2003, at the age of seventy-nine years, passed away Mr. Giovanni Barbato, beloved husband of Mrs. Maria Michela Ciavattoni. Other than his wife, he will be sadly missed by his children Dominic (Linda), Nick (Kim), Teresa (Tony), his grandchildren Christina, John, Christopher, Andy, David, Elizabeth, Victoria, Sean, his sister, his mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 from 7 to 10 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 2003 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m., and Friday, August 22, 2003 from 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home Alfred Dallaire Groupe Yves Legare Inc. The funeral will be on Friday, August 22, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Madre dei Cristiani Church, 7935 Lefebvre, Lasalle and from there to the Mount Pleasant Cemetery of Laval.
