Yolanda ARRIGONI

SMICIKLAS, Yolanda (nee Arrigoni) In loving memory of Yolanda Smiciklas, 73 years of Sudbury, who passed away Friday morning, January 24, 2003 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Memorial Site. She was born in Caporetto, Italy. Yolanda came to Sudbury in 1976 from the United States. She was a Roman Catholic. Always quick to help others, she will be remembered as a dynamic and positive person who inspired all who knew her. She adhered to a holistic health philosophy and regularly exercised at Cambrian Fitness Center and more recently the Oasis Fitness Center. Yolanda was devoted to her loving family. Beloved wife of Dr. Vojko Peter Smiciklas predeceased 1976, and companion Art Richard of Sudbury. Loving mother of Helen of Vancouver, B.C., and Anna of Burlington. Cherished grandmother of Amanda. Dear daughter of Enrico and Maria Arrigoni predeceased. Dear sister of Irene Korda (husband Victor) of Batawa, Enrica Sabatino (husband Jack) of Trenton and the late Adriana Pittaluga and Wanda Modonutti both predeceased. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by her stepchildren Jim Richard, Don Richard and Jeanine Stokes and their families. Funeral prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Monday January 27, 2003 at 11:30 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
