REDEKOP, Cristina (Falk) Our dear mother, gracefully, on March 14, 2006, at 93. Faithful to her Lord and devoted to her husband and family, she enjoyed working hard, sewing, quilting, baking and volunteering at her church, and even to the very end, she sang hymns and recited poetry to cheer others. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter D. Redekop, son, Peter Jr., and siblings, David, Katharina and Henry, she is lovingly remembered by her caring children, George (Dayle) Redekop, Helen (Dave) Lepp, David (Guille) Redekop, Elma (Richard) Kimpel, Walter (Debbie) Redekop; her cherished grandchildren, Melanie, Dion (Joanne), Chris (Beth), Diane, Angelica and Justin; her sweet sisters, Agatha (Harry) Nickel of B.C. and Mary (Rev. Gabriel) Mendez of Utah; thoughtful nieces and nephews; and loyal relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, March 17, at HULSE AND ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME, 75 Church St., St. Catharines. A private family religious service and interment will be held, and a gathering for the celebration of her life will take place at a later time. Special thanks to Dr. Sedra, Dr. O'Reilly, kind staff at Tabor and Pleasant Manor and to all her treasured caregivers, who brought joy and comfort.
