KING, EMMA - At Victoria Glen Manor, Perth-Andover, April 10, 2006, Mrs. Emma Carmen King of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 91 years. She was the wife of the late Claude King. Born at Richibucto in 1915, she was a daughter of the late James Alfred and Emma Jane (White) Long. Mrs. King was a veteran of World War II, enrolled in the women`s division of the Royal Canadian Air Force. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Grand Falls Branch 21 and also a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary. She is survived by her brother, Douglas Long of Moncton, as well as nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. She will then be resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, 33 Acadie Street, Richibucto with visiting hours Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral will be held Monday, April 17th from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Rexton, with Rev. John Pearce officiating. Interment will be in the Richibucto Anglican/United Church Cemetery.
