Jeanette Lindsay, 68 Jeanette Elizabeth Lindsay, 68, died suddenly at Brockville General Hospital on April 1, 2006. She was born at Cardinal on Feb. 16, 1938 to Fred Jones and the former Zolia Hatley. The early part of her life was spent with the Weirs in Bishops Mills. She married John Lindsay on Aug. 1, 1998 at their home at 2500 McIntosh Rd., RR#1 Prescott. Although primarily a homemaker she did factory work and restaurant work in the Prescott area and in the St. Catharines area. She moved back to Prescott about ten years ago and shared her life with John. She enjoyed all animals, especially their dogs. Her main interests were going to bingos, spending time on the computer talking to friends and playing games. She was an avid hockey fan. Her family always came first and her happiest moments in the last three years were when we had our great-grandson Braden with us for extended visits. She was looking forward to having Braden's sister Bianca in the future. She is survived by her husband, John Lindsay, sons, James Campbell of Prescott, Gordon Campbell and his wife Cathy of St. Catharines, Keith Campbell and his wife Sheila of Kitchener, Mark Campbell of British Columbia, and Terry Campbell and his wife Bettina of Kitchener, as well as grandchildren, Alicia, Keith, Mary, Christopher, and Heather, great grandchildren Braden and Bianca. Also surviving are brother, Jim Jones and his wife Jill of Hamilton, sisters Joan Daly and her husband Lou of Ottawa, and Judy Hopkins of Arnprior, mother-in-law Margaret Lindsay, sister-in-law Mary Vail and her husband Jim, brothers-in-law Bill, Jim and his wife Eleanor all of Prescott, Fred and his wife Helen of Peterborough. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Lisa Campbell, and brother-in-law, Ken Hopkins. Friends called at the Chris Slater Funeral Home on April 4, 2006 from 2-4 pm, with the service following in the chapel and Rev. Phillip Phillips officiating. Cremation followed and burial will take place at a later date at Maynard Cemetery.
