MASHAAL, Gertrude. (nee Mashaal). Peacefully and courageously, on Friday, June 9, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of David and Franci, and Linda. Cherished "Nana" of Stephen, Alexander and Julia Mashaal; Jaclyn, Nicole and Jamie Besner. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ronald and Dina Mashal, Olive and Howard Shweiger, the late Maurice Mashaal, and sister-in-law of Salim and Doris, Morris and Evette, Fred and Danielle, Albert and Sandra, Victor and Edna, Sue and Kamal Gabbay, Emile and Myriam. Sadly mourned by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Adrian Langleben, and to Marcelle, Yvonne, Charly and the staff of the Oncology Department St. Mary's Hospital, for their exceptional care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday, June 11 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Spanish & Portuguese Congregation Cemetery, Mt. Royal Blvd. Shiva private.
