Edward ARCAND

Edward Arcand, 70 Edward Arcand, a resident of Prescott, died at St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, Brockville, on June 9, 2006 at the age of 70. He was born in Kemptville on Aug. 10, 1935 to parents John L. Arcand and Mary Beaudin. He married Sandra Arcand (nee Littlejohn) at St. Mark's Church, Prescott on July 18, 1959. Mr. Arcand worked at RCA. He is survived by his wife, daughter Sheila Robertson (John), grandchildren Matthew and Jesse, sisters-in-law Judy Littlejohn and Diana Littlejohn and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters Edna Smith, Leona Arcand, Theresa Goulet and Emma Clover, brothers-in-law Edward, Kirby and Alan Littlejohn, sister-in-law Linda Morris and son-in-law Alan Boyd. Visitation took place at the Chris Slater Funeral Home, Prescott on June 12. Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mark's Catholic Church on June 13. Father J. Appelman officiated. Burial was at St. Mark's Cemetery on June 13. Pallbearers were Jack Bradley, Klaus DeVries, Ed MacDonald, Ed Bush, Wayne Boisvenue and Bernie Currier. Memorial donations are being directed to St. Vincent Palliative Care and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
