George Nikolica August 31, 1949 - June 27, 2006 NIKOLICA, George - After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of George Nikolica on Tuesday, June 27, 2006, in his 56th year. He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife of 39 years, Ana Nikolica. Dearly loved father to Peter (Mary) Nikolica, Georgina (Alex) Milojevich, cherished grandfather to Peter Jr., Sarah, Sofia and Nicholas. He will be sadly missed by his parents Peter and Persa Nikolica, and sister Georgina (Paul) Radivoi. Beloved son-in-law to Sofia Zivku and the late Nick Zivku. Dear brother-in-law to Maria (Jon) Bozin, Lidia (George) Keta, Nick (Renee) Zivku, and John (Elena) Zivku. Loved by many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff from the Juravinski Cancer Centre, the nursing staff from the VON and the CCAC. Visitation at the Friscolanti Funeral Home, 43 Barton Street East, on Wednesday, June 28 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, June 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Holy Resurrection Romanian Church, Friday, June 30, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
