SHUCHAT-LEVITT, Lillian (nee Blumer). Peacefully, late Thursday, May 13, 2004 in her ninety-fourth year. Beloved wife of the late Hy Levitt and the late Meyer Shuchat. Devoted and loved mother and mother-in-law of Arthur and Marion Levitt, Beverley and Elie Hamburg, Edward and Susan Levitt. Cherished grandmother of Bruce and Elizabeth Levitt, Heidi and Charlie Hess, David and Mylene Hamburg, Lyon and Cybele Hamburg, Tyla and Georges Bohbot, Howard Hamburg, Douglas and Alexandra Levitt, Robert Levitt and Fiancee Joanne Simonetti. Great-grandmother of Bradley, Alison, and Carolyn Levitt, Eloise, and Tobie Hess, Ethan Hamburg, Charlotte, Gabriel and Noah Hamburg, Lauren, Joshua, Romy, and Rebecca Bohbot. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Auvie and the late Hy Segal, the late Miriam and the late Samuel Moscovitch Q.C. (the late Bess), the late Charles and the late Tessie Blumer, the late Hilda and the late Dr. George Strean, the late Edna and the late Louis Goldschleger (the late Meyer Gross). Sister-in-law of Golda and the late Emanuel Epstein, Bluma and Bram Appel, the late Irving and the late Rona Levitt. She will be fondly remembered by Rabbi Wilfred and Miriam Shuchat, Rita and B.J. Finestone, Charles and Muriel Shuchat, the late Seymour and the late Joan Shuchat, and all of their families. She was loved and will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, May 16 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, Mt Royal Blvd. Shiva private.
