SCOTT, EMILY LOCKHART The death of Emily Lockhart Scott of Fredericton, wife of the late Joseph Scott, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton on Thursday, August 3, 2006. Born on October 10, 1922 in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Troupe) Mitchell. Mrs. Scott was a member of the Rambler Society Scotland and her main pleasure in life was being with family. Mrs. Scott beloved mother of two daughters, Alice (Andrew) Sanders of East Kilbride, Scotland and Catriona (William) Mackie of Glasgow, Scotland; step mother of Bobbie Crocket of Fredericton and Bill Scott of Edmonton and their families; four grandchildren, Emma, Robbie, Ewan and Pamela; one sister, Betsy Mitchell of East Kilbride, Scotland; one niece, Lindsay Cameron (Angus) of Paisley, Scotland; and the Scott family of Canada. Besides her husband, Joseph Scott, she was predeceased by her first husband of 32 years, William Reid Robertson and their son, Gardner Robertson; as well as one sister, Margaret Nicholson. No visitation by request, a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 7th, 2006 at 11 am from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Baie Verte Cemetery at a later date. Honourary Pallbearers for the service are: Bill Mackie, Andrew Sanders, Robbie Livingstone, Ewan Mackie, Bill Scott, Doug Crocket and James Scott. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital Foundation – Oncology Department would be appreciated by the family.
