Nancy Lefebvre, 54 Nancy Lynn Lefebvre passed on to be with the Lord in her 55th year on July 9, 2006 at Johnstown, Ont. Born on Feb. 2, 1952 to parents Earl and Marguerite Barton, Nancy grew up and completed both her primary and secondary education in Prescott. She later obtained her secretarial degree from Algonquin College in Ottawa, which led to many years of service with the Royal Bank in Prescott. Recently, Nancy's love for God and the Church drew her to Eastern Pentecostal Bible College where she studied towards her pastoral degree. Predeceased by her much-loved father Earl Barton, Nancy is survived by her husband and best friend, Dale Lefebvre, daughters Beth Brayton and husband Todd, Marsha Daw and fiancée Michael Beard, Jessica Lefebvre and partner Amanda Montroy-Sproston, Johnathan Lefebvre, and grandchildren Summer, Jacob, and Jesse Brayton. Also surviving are her mother Marguerite Barton, sister Penny O'Brien, brother Richard Barton, parents-in-law Floyd and Shirley Lefebvre, and brother-in-law Eric Lefebvre. The family held a private funeral service on in the chapel at the Chris Slater Funeral Home, Prescott, on July 13, followed by Christian burial at the Maynard Cemetery with Pastor Bob Burgess officiating. Nancy's husband Dale and children Beth, Marsha, Jessica, Johnathan, and son-in-law Todd served as pallbearers. Memorial donations to City Church in Vanier, Ont. can be made through the Chris Slater Funeral Home.
