STONE, Theresia (Terry) 1933 - 2006 My best friend and loving wife quietly left us on September 11th, 2006 to be with her special mom and dad. Her beautiful daughters will dearly miss their "big sister", faithful advisor and confidante. "SuCaLi" -- Susan (Jeff) Moyer, Cathee (Kevin) McKnight and Lisa Stone (David Pyke) blossomed under her gentle guidance and wise counsel. Our nine grandkids truly loved their amazing Gramma, and Clinton, Tara, Amanda, Mallory, Donovan, Simon, Adrien, Lane and Isla will cherish many wonderful memories of her forever. She leaves her sister Hermina (Ray) Leblanc of Hamilton, and brothers John (Rhona) Windish of Ottawa, James (Catherine) Windich of Hamilton, and Steve (Martha) Windich of South Carolina. Terry was a much loved friend to many wonderful people, including her colleagues at CMPA, and her many pals at Carlingwood and the gym, her neighbours, her fellow fund raisers with Saint Vincent's, Elisabeth Bruyere, Huntington's (She was known as the Amaryllis Lady), Kidney Foundation, Do-It-For-Dad Cancer run, Hug Your Heart and several other worthy organizations. She can never be replaced but she will be remembered as an example of a truly magnificent person. Special thanks to the many caregivers and health care professionals at the Queensway Carleton, the Heart Institute and the Rad/Onc wing of the General Hospital and At-Home-Hospice, and special thanks to Doctor Susan Gick for their genuine concern and much appreciated expertise. We will all miss her more than words can express. Guess what Darling ... I Love You, always...Ray. At Terry's request, there will be no visitation. Memorial service will be held at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 4 p.m., followed by a 6 o'clock reception at the Villa Lucia Supper Club, 3430 Carling Avenue. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your charity of choice would be appreciated. www.raymondpstone.com Published in the Ottawa Citizen from 9/12/2006 - 9/13/2006
