Alcide Arsenault 1930-2006 Alcide Arsenault, 76, of Dieppe, passed away on Friday, December 8th, 2006, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Atholville, NB, he was the son of Eva (née: Arseneau) and the late André Arsenault. He had retired as a yard foreman from Lockharts, he was an avid fly fisherman and hunter, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Club d'Age d'Or de Dieppe and a parishioner of Ste Thérèse Parish. Besides his mother, Eva of St. Antonie, he is survived by his wife Doris (née: LeBlanc); five daughters, Marg (Carl) Herbert of Quebec, QC, Louise (Richard) Mercier of Kingston, On, Muriel (Dave) LeBlanc, Monique Arsenault and Diane (Bernie) Buotte, all three of Moncton; two sons, Maurice (Gilberte) of Moncton, and Gerard (Lucille) of Toronto, On; two sisters, Sr Rita f.m.a. of St. Antoine and Edna LeBlanc of Moncton; one sister-in-law, Jeanne of St. Antoine; 7 grandchildren, Michelle, Patrick, Kristine, Brian, Marc, Kevin and Jeremie; as well as by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Alyre. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Monday, December 11th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday, December 12th, from 1 pm until the time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ste Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Tuesday, December 12th, 2006 at 2 pm. Internment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
