ANDERSON (née Rakush), Catherine ANDERSON, Catherine 1964 - 2006 Catherine Lina Anderson (née Rakush), est décédée le 2 décembre, 2006 à Calgary, Alberta. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Russell Anderson, ses 2 enfants Ben et Kate Anderson, son beau-fils Jake Anderson, ainsi que ses parents Annie et Stan Rakush, sa sœur Victoria et son beau-frère Greg Garbula et ses neveu et nièces, Katerina, Samantha et Garrett Garbula. Elle laisse aussi ses beaux-parents Bev et Doug Anderson. Née le 5 septembre 1964 à Montréal, Québec ou elle a grandie, étudié et demeuré durant 38 années. Elle a obtenu ses Baccalauréats en Arts (B.A.) et en Droit, LL.B. et LL.L. à l'université McGill à Montréal. Elle a pratiqué le droit au sein du cabinet McMaster Meighen (maintenant Borden Ladner Gervais), ainsi qu'aux contentieux de Bell Canada International, Bell Mobility, Schering Canada Inc. et en dernier lieu au sein de Suncor Energy. Catherine était une épouse, mère, fille, sœur et amie dévouée autour de qui les gens se sentaient toujours appréciés. Les funérailles auront lieu au Leyden Funeral Home 17th Avenue et 2nd Street SW Calgary, Alberta le mercredi 6 décembre prochain à 15 heures. La crémation suivra. Un service commémoratif aura lieu à Montréal au début du nouvel an. La famille tient à exprimer leur gratitude envers le personnel du Rosedale Hospice, du Foothills Hospital et du Tom Baker Center. Prière de ne pas envoyer de fleurs. Une bourse d'études sera établie pour les enfants de Catherine. Dearly beloved wife of Russell Anderson, dear mother of Ben & Kate Anderson, dear stepmother of Jake Anderson, beloved daughter of Annie & Stan Rakush, dear sister of Victoria (Greg) Garbula and very special aunt to Katarina, Samantha and Garrett Garbula. She will be lovingly remembered by her parents-in-law, Bev & Doug Anderson and their family. Catherine was born September 5,1964 in Montreal, Quebec, where she was raised, educated and resided for 38 years. She attended McGill University in Montreal where she obtained her B.A. and her law degrees, LL.B, LL.L. Catherine practiced law with McMaster Meighen / BLG, Bell Canada International, Bell Mobility, Schering Canada Inc. and most recently with Suncor Energy. Catherine was a devoted wife, mother, daughter sister and friend who brought out the best in the people around her. Funeral Services will be held at Leyden's Funeral Home (17 avenue & 2 Street SW, Calgary, Alberta) on Wednesday December 6 at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. A Memorial Service will be held in Montreal early in the New Year. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the people of Rosedale Hospice, Foothills Hospital, and Tom Baker Cancer Center. A Scholarship Fund will be established for Catherine's children.
