Clorice Gauvin (1919-2007) Mise à jour le samedi 13 janvier 2007 COCAGNE - À l'hôpital régional Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le jeudi 11 janvier 2007, à l'âge de 87 ans, est décédé Clorice Gauvin, domicilié à Cocagne. Né à Dieppe le 8 février 1919, il était fils de feu Florion et Marie-Euphraisine (née Bourgeois) Gauvin. Il laisse dans le deuil ses sept enfants: Yvon (Jean) de Riverview, Jeannette Poirier (Normand), Rose-Marie Gauvin et Ulysse (Claudia), tous de Cocagne, Paul (Anita) de Moncton, Gerald (Beverly) de Lakeburn et Roger (Johanne) de Moncton; dix petits-enfants: Karen, Serge, David, Daniel, Michelle, Marc, Shawn, Mélina, Andréa et Louisa; sept arrière-petits-enfants: Jacob, Emma, Eyan, Madison, Brittney, Harley et Emiley, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Clorice a été précédé dans la tombe par son épouse, Françoise (née Goguen) en 1981; par deux filles: Thérèse et Eva en bas âge; par trois soeurs: Florence, Eva et Régina, ainsi que par quatre frères: Edgar, Arthur, Clarence et Chris. Il était un vétéran de la Seconde Guerre mondiale ayant servi à l'étranger d'octobre 1941 à octobre 1945 avec l'Armée canadienne. Il était retiré du Canadien National après 30 ans de service. La dépouille mortelle sera exposée à la salle mortuaire de l'église de Cocagne. Les funérailles auront lieu en l'église Saint-Pierre de Cocagne, le lundi 15 janvier, à 11h. L'inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial, au printemps. Heurs de visites: le dimanche 14 janvier, de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h et le lundi 15 janvier, de 9h à 10h45. À la mémoire de Clorice, des dons à la Fondation Hôpital Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont seraient appréciés. Clorice Gauvin 1919 - 2007 COCAGNE, NB - Clorice Gauvin, 87, of Cocagne, passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Dieppe on February 8, 1919, he was the son of the late Florion and Marie Euphraisine (née Bourgeois) Gauvin. He was a Veteran of the Royal Canadian army service Corps and served overseas from October 1941 to October 1945. He retired from CNR after 30 years of service. Clorice lost his beloved wife, Francoise (née Goguen) in 1981. He leaves his seven remaining children to mourn his loss...Yvon (Jean) of Riverview, Jeannette Poirier (Normand), Rose-Marie Gauvin, Ulysse (Claudia) all of Cocagne, Paul (Anita) of Moncton, Gerald (Beverly) of Lakeburn and Roger (Johanne) of Moncton; ten grandchildren, Karen, Serge, David, Daniel, Michelle, Marc, Shawn, Melina, Andrea and Louisa; seven great grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Eyan, Madison, Brittney, Harley, Emiley. He also leaves several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two daughters in infancy, Thérèse, Eva; three sisters, Florence, Eva, Régina and four brothers, Edgar, Arthur, Clarence, Chris. Clorice will be resting at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber room, Cocagne, with visitation on Sunday, January 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday, January 15 from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne at 11:00 am, Monday, January 15, 2007. In Clorice's memory, donations to the Dr. Georges-L.
