MACDONALD, VERDA ARMOREL The death of Verda Armorel (Bubar) MacDonald of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Charles Daniel MacDonald occurred on Thursday, November 23, 2006 at the Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton, NB. Born in Nashwaak Bridge, NB, she was a daughter of the late James and Jessie (Newell) Bubar. Verda is survived by two sons, Paul (June) of Hanwell and Terrance of Fredericton; one grandson, John (Candace) of Noonan; one granddaughter, Joy of Toronto, ON; one brother, Norris Bubar (Pauline) of Burtt's Corner; one sister, Mavis Gorman (Elwood) of Burtt's Corner; one step sister, Christine Fowler of Boiestown and one sister-in-law, Fanny Bubar of Stanley. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Edward Bubar and one sister, Neno Gorman. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday from 2 to 5 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will be held in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Nashwaak Bridge, NB. Pallbearers are John MacDonald, Fred Bubar, Eric Bubar, Wayne Gorman, James Bubar and Reginald Sansom. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
